WARRANTIES & SERVICES

When looking for a new ultrasound system it is reassuring to know that a certain system has been under manufactures warranty or service contract. Your new ultrasound will always function better and last longer when they receive regular maintenance. There many service contract options available depending on your needs and location. The Ultrasound Trader can assist you in deciding which method will work best for you - manufacturer direct or certified third-party.

All ultrasounds purchased from The Ultrasound Trader are sold "as is working." By this, we mean that upon delivery to your designated destination you can expect the system to power up and function to manufacturer's specifications. In striving to continually exceed your expectations, you can rest assured that if this does not happen we will act to remedy the situation immediately to all parties satisfaction.

Ultra-SOUND Certification
If your selling a system we offer the Ultra-Sound certification process which is conducted by and independent, leading national service organization. After successful completion your system will bare the Ultra-SOUND certification seal on the web site, which designates it as a quality system, helping prospective buyer serious consider your listing. Here is what is included with the certification process;
  • Document all software configurations & calculation packages loaded, current software revision and DICOM verification
  • Document and field test all probes.
  • Verify crispness of monitor image, trackball operation and all other functional controls
  • Verify all manuals and general condition of the system.
Warranties, Installation & Training
If you are buying a system from The Ultrasound Trader we have a full suite of services, training and warranty options for your valuable investment. As always these can be ordered "al carte" so you are only paying for the services that you actually need. Here is a list of the more common packages requested.
  • Installation & Verification
    • Includes unpacking, connecting probes and peripherals
    • Starting the system, running diagnostics and confirming the configuration, calculation packages and DICOM status.
    • Check for all manuals, and confirm packing list matches sales order
  • Application Training (In-House)
    • Complete in house training with an emphasis on anticipated office use and procedures.
  • Complete Service Agreements
    • One year or multiple year agreements
    • Complete system coverage, including probes and peripherals.
