In general there are two types of training required by facilities with existing sonographers on staff.

1) Complete Application Training - This type of training usually involves 1-2 days with highly training application specialist who has expertise with your specific platform. Training includes everything from basic operational steps to setting up DICOM and transmitting to workstations. Costs for these training sessions usually run from $900 and up depending on time requirments and if there is travel involved.

2) Knobolgy - Usually for the experienced sonographer this type of training helps reduce the time required to get up to steam on a new system. Learning the advanced operational techniques, short cuts, enhancements, optimization of default settings and identification of your particular systems capabilities are examples of some of the points included in this type of training. Time required for these types of application training session ranges from a couple of hours to half a day, and are less expensive.
